Roald Dahl’s The Witches – It’s Scary.
The story has all the hallmarks of the great Roald Dahl tales; a young orphaned child, the fear and excitement of discovering the unknown, elements of the supernatural… all the wonderful things that made him such a brilliant writer for children.
The Witches has something else though…its dark… really, really dark. It goes further than just capturing your imagination, it reaches back into your childhood and makes you relive your nightmares.
Perhaps you’re an adult reader who doesn’t dabble with children literature – if so this should be one of those times you make an exception… scary or not The Witches is so much more than JUST a book for kids.
